We adopted our dog, Timber, last year from the Charleston Animal Society (CAS). He was found alone on the side of the road at only 3 weeks old. CAS took him in and fostered him until he was ready for adoption.
He became sick the day after we brought him home. They were amazing and instantly brought him into their clinic and evaluated him, gave him fluids, and medicine to help him recover. We noticed when he was a little older that he had some fear anxiety and aggression. I called and they recommended a wonderful behaviorist/trainer that came to our home to evaluate him. We were able to work with her to help him overcome his fears and become a great family dog.
They are a wonderful part of our community and truly care for the animals.
