Review for Nevada Fair Housing Center Inc, Las Vegas, NV, USA

Rating: 1 stars

This organization is Horrible! They have a very bad reputation for no paying their blls, vendors or employees. There is suspected embezelment activities going on as well. I hope somebody investigates this organization, and if there is anything wrong, I hope the organization can get rei of the Bad Apples, and continue to serv the community. The service that the organization is supposed to perform is badly needed, I just doubt that the current Management will get the job done!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

providing assistance to some in need with assistance with unfair lending pratices.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

meeting new people.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Staff was wonderful, and truely cares about their clients. Thats staff, management is another story!

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

be in bug trouble, with the current management in place.

Ways to make it better...

the President and CEO would have kept her word, and adaquatly compensated those who dedicated so much time and energy to her, and the organization.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

No Financial Transparency, No accountability of the President/CEO - Too many Lies!

One thing I'd also say is that...

I hope somebody audits and investigates this organization soon, before it gets its hands on the hundreds of thousands of dollars that they have been approved for.

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2009

Role:  General Member of the Public & I worked a lot of hours for this organization, and in the end, did not get fairly compensated, so I guess I was an un-witting volunteer.
