I found SAILS through volunteermatch.org and began working with them in January 2022 as a volunteer writer for their newsletter. Having lost a child of my own 15 years ago I know how desperately parents need support and community through loss and grief. I'm so impressed by all the work SAILs does to educate, support, and show love to families who have lost a child. I'm honored to have worked with such a fantastic organization and women who know how brutal life can be but are still willing to spread love and hope despite it.
