We got our boy Scruffy from DITR about 3 years ago. He was a puppy that was born to stray that showed up in the rain one day on some kind person's doorstep. They called DITR and ended up adopting her. The stray ended up being pregnant, and Scruffy was one of her babes. The minute I saw Scruffy's photo on Facebook, I was in love and contacted DITR. Even though we were in Maryland and they were in North Carolina, that didn't matter - we knew he was our boy. DITR took excellent care of Scruffy and his siblings until he was old enough for us to come get him. He is just the sweetest and we spoil him rotten! We are so appreciative of all that DITR does for dogs in their area. They have a stellar reputation that is well-earned. We will without a doubt continue to support them and others should too!
