I've seen firsthand how WINGS supports, encourages and enables both the families of the incarcerated and returning citizens. There program works on a foundational level to build families and offers vital skill training on a weekly basis. These programs equip anyone impacted by the prison system with strategies to break the cycles of trauma and addiction that entrap families and generations of families. Their family prison days are an absolute marvel to behold. Many of the restriction that apply to visitation are lifted, everyone mingles, sings, plays games and most importantly spends time with loved ones in an open and caring environment. You won't find a more deserving organization.
