I don't know much about the Foundation. I have been to Tuba Christmas many times. My brother knew Harvey Phillips. My brother was the Tuba player for the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in Amsterdam. He went to Curtis in Philadelphia before studying in Germany on a Fulbright and then auditioning for RCO. So I am familiar with the Tuba syndrome and support it. My brother had a wonderful life touring the world and playing beautiful music with a world class orchestra. What could be better? Urge the kids to keep practicing.
