Review for No Limits for Deaf Children, Culver City, CA, USA
The force behind No Limits is Michelle Christie-Adams. She is a caring, intelligent individual as well as a smart businesswoman and she runs the organization with minimal overhead. She cares deeply about the No Limits kids and she has worked tirelessly to form a committed board, secure a terrific space and provide excellent services to the children. I became interested in No Limits because of Michelle, and have been gratified to see No Limits continue to grow and provide services to more children. I recommend coming to see one of their plays - they give a sense of the scope of No Limits' success; the way they've changed the lives of the kids, increased confidence, and introduced the theatrical arts to kids.

Having worked in non-profit theatre, I'm aware of how difficult it is to continue to keep an organization afloat over time. Michelle has written plays, made costumes and decorated the rooms at the No Limits offices to make each space a world of the imagination -- the kind of place a child would want to spend time. At the same time, she's offering speech therapy, raising money and reaching out to the community.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Help their annual budget grow. More money would mean more support staff, and more kids helped every year. Michelle has many people who are dedicated to helping her and helping the group -- but that number could double.
