This is the only picture I can post from this amazing day volunteering at The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee (undestandable volunteering stipulation); my big cheesy grin of happiness. Our volunteer team of 5 helped clean several work areas, moved donated pumpkins (elephants love them), painted a bit and moved a huge pile of downed bamboo to an even bigger burn pile. Weather was very good to us and allowed us to see 7 of the 9 beautiful elephants. This place is truly amazing, educational and inspiring. The elephants are well loved, fed and taken care of. They deserve nothing less after the abuses we humans put them through.
