ATRA's mission is to represent and promote trail and mountain running. With just one part-time staff member, the organization has a broad range of programs and publications. The signature piece is their online calendar of events.

We've been a member of the RRCA since our organization, the American Trail Running Association, was formed in 1996. We receive great support from the staff. We have enjoyed attending their annual convention and encourage others to get in on the action!
