Review for Lost Paws Rescue of Texas, Carrollton, TX, USA
Lost Paws was at the PetSmart in Southlake, Tx. My husband and I were at this PetSmart to pick up diapers for our elderly dog, Mollee, who had been with us for almost 16 years. We knew we didn't have much time left with her. We very rarely go to this PetSmart because there is one closer to our home, but we went to this one that Saturday. When we walked in, we, of course, had no intention of taking a dog home. We saw a little doggie and lots of people were looking at her. So we went about our business and just before we were about to check out, the crowd had left her. When we saw her, my heart melted. She was a yorkie and she reminded us so much of Mollee...same color, same disposition, a name that started with an M, just like all members and pets in our family. It felt like she was meant to be with us. Lost Paws was just about to pick up and leave and if we'd have been 15 minutes later, we would have missed her completely. Donna was awesome. We told her about Mollee. She told us to go home and think about it, and if we wanted Muffin to fill out an application online. She said they would be back at that PetSmart the next week. So, we went home, but couldn't get Muffin off our mind nor how it just seemed like we were meant to get her. So, Wednesday night I filled out the application. They contacted me shortly after and told us to be at PetSmart that Saturday. We got there, held Muffin, and knew she was supposed to be a part of our family. We brought her home! It was on July 30, 2022. That evening our Mollee passed away. It was then I realized we needed Muffin as much as she needed us. She has been a blessing to our family and we are grateful to Lost Paws for bringing our Muffin to us.
