Review for Women's eNews, New York, NY, USA
I've supported WEN and Rita Henley since before its official founding. (I was an employee at NOW Legal Defense and Education Fund, which first sponsored it, before it gained an independent existence.) It's unique in providing a wide array of information about women both in the US and internationally from a variety of perspectives. Many of its stories are not duplicated elsewhere. Especially in view of current events in the Mideast, its decision some while ago to pay particular attention on women in that area demonstrates rare prescience.

add more in-depth stories, which would of course require more funding.
