My son “Matty” passed away at 16 years old. He was starting to experiment with drugs and alcohol like many teenagers do. Unfortunately one day he got a hold of a Xanax that was fake and contained fentanyl. He took that pill that night went to bed and never woke up.
Matty was my only child. I never want to see any parent have to go through losing a child so I embrace the Beacon House in their efforts to help those who are struggling make a better life for themselves.
I have witnessed the positive changes the Beacon House program has made for several young men. I have seen men gain self respect, become good family men and learn what it takes to become productive and prosperous in the community.
I will continue to fight against Fentanyl Poisoning to help save lives!
