My daughter took me to this volunteer event. I wasn't quite sure what I was I was signing up for. She told me would be packing food of the homeless.

When we arrived, we were instantly welcomed by the other people. I don't know what to do at this volunteer event. But, the people there helped us and showed how they like to pack the good. So, I felt comfortable working there with these friendly people.

I especially enjoyed the table talk sessions where we bonded over similar activities within our own families. We should have more volunteer events like this! It was an excellent experience, I look forward to going there again.
