Volunteering with Can Do Canines has been a life enhancing experience. The organization supports volunteers by being available, connecting us with other volunteers, and providing multiple ways to help support them. They make time to recognize our contributions as well as invite us to celebrate successes. As a volunteer I feel valued and appreciated which keeps me wanting to be a part of this special organization. In my time with the organization I have fostered over 15 dogs in training and learned so much about how these dog change other people's lives and I have become a better at training dogs thanks to the classes and supporting material made available. It is a wonderful way to volunteer as a family and show my son how you can take your passion (dogs!) and find a way to give back to your community by doing something you love.
