A Sandy Vista resident heard from a neighbor that we could provide PPE. She specifically requested masks and gloves, and asked if we had other resources. We managed to put together a food box for her family, and once delivered she asked if we planned on putting together another vaccine event for the Sandy Vista Apartment Complex. I let her know we do not currently have any plans to do so, but I did manage to give her information about a clinic the county was putting on down the street. She thanked me and was grateful for the help we were able to provide. It felt great having somewhere to point this participant to and being able to answer questions to help with the vaccine hesitancy she was facing a while ago.
