Thanks to the fabulous staff at Northwest Family Services Darin and Joey can now compete safely on the New Urban Basketball team!

Both students were excited to play basketball afterschool this year but were nervous about getting injured due to not having proper shoes for the sport. After receiving 75 dollar scholarships from NWFS both students have been able participate in every practice and scrimmage.

"Please let them know how thankful I am" Noted Darin.
"My feet don't hurt any more!" added Joey.

Although the team is small, the impact of having positive activities for our students is huge. Thank you Jayne. Thank you Northwest family Services. Because of your grant two students are participating safely and having fun!
