Rachel has been served by NWFS since she was in the 8th grade by first being in a middle school prevention education group. Rachel has had many challenges through her home life such as poverty and homelessness, but never gave up on her education. Despite the crazy last two years and online school she is proud to say that she graduated High school from Reynolds High School! Just the beginning of this year Rachel was struggling with not being on track to graduate due to COVID-19. She worked so hard and was able to complete her normal 8 classes schedule while also doing two credit recoveries. Rachel would also use our tutoring services up to 5 hours a week to get the help needed. She can now say she did it and will continue to work with her case manager to apply for college/trade schools and got her first job this summer. Rachel has identified that she wants to be an ultrasound technician.
