I have been teaching in Lee County for many years. Throughout that time, I have always known that the Foundation for Lee County Public Schools is a resource that can not be replaced! There are so many wonderful programs that have directly impacted me as a teacher and my students as well. I have had the pleasure of participating in the incredible Golden Apple program which inspires me beyond words. I have utilized the Resource Center for materials to use with my students in my classroom (which in turn, saves money in my household budget). Oh, did I mention the incredible experiences and training opportunities that the Foundation provides? Not only do they provide unsurmountable support to the educators in Lee County, but they in turn provide wonderful opportunities for the students in our community. The sponsors, volunteers, and employees of The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools has a very special place in my heart. It always has and always will be very well respected by our educators and citizens of Lee County.
