Review for St. Joseph's Indian School, Chamberlain, SD, USA

Rating: 1 stars

This school has only about 165 students, many attending the local no cost high school. Their letters make it sound like the child's next meal, pencil, or shirt may be in jeopardy. Sheer nonsense. The SJS endowment is over 325 million which brakes down to 2 million per child. With a low 5% annual income, each child would have 216,000 in their lunch pail. They do not submit an IRS 990 form showing salary per position . The administrator makes a bundle no doubt, no heavy lifting or long office hours. The letters are disheartening in their lack of frankness and the illusion of destitution. I will be checking with the diocese for further investigation. They should share their bundle of investments with other needy institutions. There is an incense odor needing a complete audit, not provided to donors or anyone. Trust but verify...thank you President Reagan.
