Thank you for the opportunity to make a brief statement about this vital Ministry. Confidential Care Mobile Ministry came into our lives about two years ago. It wasn't by accident although it might have seemed to be accidental. Early one morning before sunrise I was on my deck listening to a message from a Pastor out of Florida on my phone. Somehow, I must have fumbled my phone, touched the wrong buttons in the dark, and it dialed Rick Carr.
Rick Carr and I met decades ago when I served on the board of Youth for Christ. We enjoyed working for Jesus in the inner-city touching lives of young men and women with the life changing message of Jesus. I witnessed his relentless efforts and energy as he dedicated his life to these young lives. We stood together, we prayed together, and at times, we wept together. Changes happen in life, and we had not had any contact in years.
You can imagine my surprise as I heard a voice interrupting my broadcast saying "Hello", "Hello Dan", "Dan what are you doing interfering with my Bible study time?"
We talked a few minutes and set up a time to meet. During a luncheon he introduced me to Confidential Care Mobile Ministry. Once again, i could see that flame in him burning brightly. "To serve Jesus by serving others." And what a beautiful bold way to serve! To be the voice for the unborn. To stand for life and be willing to suffer personal pain at the loss of the babies who are denied the right of living.
Rick invited us to visit the Mobile Sites of this miraculous ministry. It rocked my heart to stand in that mobile unit knowing hundreds of mothers and fathers preceded me in that coach as they contemplated their choices.
At this point in life, we couldn't do much, but we did find a way to support and influence support for these mothers last Christmas. And we look forward to doing this again this year.
In summary, we love Jesus, love children, love life, and enjoying sharing it with such a powerful mission.
