My father was a huge animal lover, especially horses. I have been involved in animal rescue and welfare for over 28 years. When my father passed in December 2020 I was directed to Saffyre Sanctuary as a local horse rescue I could help with and honor my dad’s memory. I was immediately and warmly accepted. The job they do of saving horses and allowing them to live a dignified, safe and loving life goes above and beyond for these amazing spiritual beings. I’ve learned so much more about horses and have found not only the founder but all volunteers there have the same welcoming culture. I’ve been involved with rescue over 28 years and know an amazing rescue/sanctuary. They educate people about horses and never lose site of their mission!
