My Nonprofit Reviews

The Louisiana Wildlife Federation (LWF) has had a huge influence on both my time as an undergraduate at Louisiana State University (LSU) as well as establishing connections for my future career. I'm currently a senior at LSU studying Marine Biology, I was accepted for the Edgar Veillon Conservation Leadership Corps, this program has blossomed my love and interest in conservation. I was able to learn about efforts and policies circulating here in Louisiana by attending their 83rd annual convention and was personally sponsored by LWF to attend the Confluence of Young Conservation Leaders and grow my network and knowledge even further. This group of individuals at LWF are incredibly passionate about the future of conservation both here in Louisiana and across the country. Not only are they willing to take young individuals such as myself under their wing for guidance, but they're simultaneously combating problems in diversity and inclusion as they actively encourage women and minorities to take up the white male dominated space that is conservation. I'm beyond excited to continue growing my relationship with those at the Louisiana Wildlife Federation and will forever be grateful for their involvement in my future endeavors.
