I was lucky to have found the West Virginia Horse Network. They have helped me achieve a long time dream of having a horse. They provided the support I needed through educational activities such as the Adoption Academy, which provided great information on horse ownership and hands on activities with horses. I also volunteered at the rescue to learn more. When I was ready for my own horse, they worked with me on finding the right horse with my special request of a Tennessee Walker (a long time dream). The process of adoption through WVHN was what I call “user friendly”. They still provide support when I have questions. I love the fact they offer continuing education for horse ownership such as clinics and fun shows. I have had Shadow for almost 2 years and I am extremely happy with her. The West Virginia Horse Network found me a fantastic partner and I cannot wait to see how far we can go in trail obstacles.
