Review for Kauai Humane Society, Lihue, HI, USA
We adopted our fur baby from the Humane Society about two years ago. Maile found us. She was living outside but definitely was not feral but extremely skinny. The Humane Society staff were wonderful to work with and helped getting Maile into our family. They named her Oz because my name is Dorothy but we felt she needed an island name.
Jump ahead to 10/2022 and Kauai Humane Society is our family resource for all things animal. My latest is trying to catch a feral kitty who is all by herself. Hoping for the catch and release and staff is very supportive with good suggestions and encouragement. Hoping to get permission to set up a trap to catch her. Watched a link from the Humane Society that shows process of socializing a feral kitty. It’s a process and one day at a time.
The pics are of Maile( obviously doesn’t miss a meal now) and little feral kitty
