Review for Harvest Compassion Center, Phoenix, AZ, USA
I have been donating and volunteering at these centers for almost four years now. The work they do in their communities to help those in need over the past 13 plus years is remarkable. The centers are designed to be welcoming and to ensure each guest is seen and heard. From the greeting when they walk in, to the mini food and hygiene mart they can choose from needed items, and the beautiful clothing boutique they can select items in for themselves and their families. The volunteers are inspiring to serve with. It is clean, well organized, and efficiently run to ensure each guest in need gets to select their own items, learn of additional resources, receive compassion, and walk out little better than they walked in. All the clothing is sorted, and what makes the cut gets washed and ironed. This is a great place to volunteer, donate needed items, and gently used clothing.
Review for Harvest Compassion Center, Phoenix, AZ, USA
We started by donating clothing, and in the last two years, our family has been fortunate enough to volunteer at HCC. We see firsthand how treating guests with dignity and compassion can make an immediate impact. HCC does an excellent job of providing a warm and welcoming environment to those needing food, hygiene, clothing, and other neighborhood resources. They work tirelessly to find partnerships that provide much-needed items to those in need. It is a special place to volunteer, as well as to donate items and funds. My favorite reason I stay involved is that the guest chooses the items they need and are guided through the process by a caring and trained volunteer.
