Review for Epilepsy Foundation Of Northern California, Alameda, CA, USA
The Epilepsy Foundation of Northern California is an amazing nonprofit that serves the epilepsy community fully and openheartedly. We first found them through our neurologist when my infant was diagnosed with epilepsy. It was such a scary time but they have provided immense support, opportunities and events for those of us to not feel alone, find community, and support. Also, what's even more amazing is their camps for youth and families with epilepsy, to be able to experience something that most kids take for granted but children with epilepsy only dream of, as often times they aren't offered such an opportunity at other camps due to their epilepsy. What an amazing organization and what amazing programs that they provide!
Review for San Diego Civic Youth Ballet, San Diego, CA, USA
Amazing nonprofit organization that make dreams come true! My child with cerebral palsy has dreamt of being in the Nutcracker for so many years. I never knew what to say but hoped that maybe somewhere, there would be a ballet school with a heart for individuals of all abilities and be open to providing such an opportunity. Imagine our immense excitement when we found out that just a hop and a skip away from our home is the SDCYB! Not only does SDCYB provide such an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for all individuals, they also provide free ballet classes for children of all abilities and of all financial/economic backgrounds. Our experience has been amazing and dreams are coming true for children of all backgrounds and abilities. Everyone there is so amazing, supportive, encouraging, and kind. What an amazing and inclusive organization that truly serves all individuals in the community. We feel so blessed to have found them!
