I choose to support OEC because of their ability to make real change at the state policy level. There are many amazing environmental organizations who deal with the effects of climate change, but few who address the root of the issue. OEC's political savvy combined with its ability to bring together various groups in coalition makes me feel confident that they will fight for solutions that will provide the strongest protections for the most people. As a parent I particularly appreciate their focus on where the environment and human health intersect; I know this state will be safer for my child because of their work.
