My son Gabriel had the opportunity to travel to Russia in Jan. 2022. He departed as an ordinary teenager. A senior in HS, excited about graduation, summer break and college. He came back as a different kid. The value of seeing life through the eyes of young men and women, not far from his age, was priceless. He forged lifetime friendships and found a 'family' he didn't know he had. A family that he would vigorously defend when the ridicule of Russia began at his school shortly after the war in the Ukraine began. Because now he knows that the sum of a country is far more than its leader. All because this ministry exposed him to 'the least of these' ... And that's a life lesson that you can't put a price on.
