FHS is really easy to work with; they are very dedicated to finding the right, forever families/homes for their dogs and cats. After the passing of my 14 yr old (rescued elsewhere) cat, I decided to explore fostering an adult (my way of trying to “give back” during a very difficult time.) I contacted FHS (half by luck and half because if all their positive reviews.) FHS’ adoption coordinators were very welcoming, knowledgeable and flexible throughout the process. I was especially impressed by the effort and focus with respect to finding compatible, loving, long-term homes and doing right by the potential adopter(s) and unique needs of each rescue. Fortunately we bonded and I ended up adopting her - foster fail!
