Amazon Conservation Association is an incredible organization that is contributing to critical work in the Amazon region. Their approach of using science and technology, protecting nature, and empowering local people has led to important developments in the conservation of the region. As a small organization with large projects, every dollar is spent wisely to ensure the greatest impact. ACA's values are rooted in the community and the staff's passion for nature, collaborative relationships, and meaningful research is easily visible in their everyday work. I am lucky to be an intern with ACA and am enjoying working with this dedicated team, while also learning so much about the challenges and opportunities in the Amazon region.
