I support the WPT because they do amazing work all around the globe to protect parrots, which are very vulnerable smart and beautiful creatures, who really need to be protected against us people and our need to destroy their habitats so we can grow palm oil or similar crops, or our want to keep them in cage cause the talk….
Well, cause I love birds and through circumstances also “take care” of a Grey Parrot since many years (feels like decades sometimes ������), I know that keeping a bird like this in a cage is a mistake. They need to be free, they become way to old for us (imagine you have kids and they always stay at the age of 5 or 6 and never leave your home, would you want that? Don’t think so and that’s also where it goes wrong…). Anyway breeding them in cages is very well possible but should to my opinion also not be done, unless an organization like the WPT would take care of the young birds to get them back in the wild again.
This is a dream maybe, but all things we can do to support the WPT in their work is honorable and thus service a good goal!
Supporting them saves Parrot’s lives and makes it possible that we will also have them in the far future, and that’s where it is about and nothing else. Nonprofit
