My name is Emily Adhiambo, I am the school manager at Star of Hope International Foundation-Kenya, a branch of the Star of Hope International America. Star of hope to me is home. A place where I feel fulfilment in life. I have worked with the organization for over 10 years and has made me understand how to work with children from destitute backgrounds and how I can serve them to create a better future for them. One special thing I love about Star of Hope is that it accommodates every needy child despite their religious background. Seeing how these children benefit from the school feeding program and education every day makes me very happy. During the covid 19 pandemic, I participated in a very important exercise of distributing relief food packages to our children and their families. This exercise saved the lives of many especially those living with chronic diseases among us. I am forever grateful to be part of this great organization.
