I really appreciate that this organization found ways to work even through the pandemic. There were many more unhoused people due to job loss and they were living in trailer parks and cars parked in safe parking areas provided by the city, and even a VTA parking lot. I and my husband volunteered several times to deliver food to these parking lots. It was heartbreaking to see that there were senior citizens, people with health challenges, and little kids living under these conditions. They were extremely thankful to receive the food that we delivered. The organization also provided them with sleeping bags, jackets, solar chargers, and warm winter essentials that helped them a lot through the pandemic.
