After over 18 years as an active duty Army Green Beret, I ran into an issue where I needed a therapy device that I couldn't afford and our insurance wouldn't cover. My advocate reached out to a group of non-profits for help and the Green Beret Foundation immediately volunteered to help me out, no strings attached. In fact, they went back and forth with me multiple times to ensure that they purchased and shipped the right device to meet my needs.
