Hello, we have been vacationing in Kauai for the past 25 years, and 9 years ago we saw our dog Koa on a field trip at Kalapaki beach. The following day we went to Kauai Humane Society and took him out on a field trip of our own. He snuggled up next to me and it was all over! We adopted him and flew him back to our home here on the mainland. He has been such a blessing to our family. Yesterday was his 9th birthday! We love the island of Kauai and the people at KHS are amazing. They were extremely helpful in getting him all situated and on his flight to us. Thank you for all you do!
