Review for Operation Gratitude Inc, Chatsworth, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Hi, my name is Monica. I am the proud wife of a deployed soldier who recently recieved a care package from Operation Gratitude and just wanted to say how wonderfull it was to hear my husbands excitement when he opened his package. He described all the great things the package contained, how he loved reading the letter from a little girl thanking him for doing what he does and how awesome the snacks were.
It gets hard out there for them especially those like my husband, who don't recieve much mail, so to have an organization like Operation Gratitude really helps to lift thier spirits. I was lucky enough to be on the phone with my husband when he opened his package and I must say, it was great. I could hear the excitement in his voice and in the voices of those around him. He's spoken of that day for the past week. And it came at just the right time, since my husband has been at a small COP without many of the everyday things we have, such as a washer, for the past 257 days.
I can only hope that every service member has the chance to get such a wonderfull gift. Operation Gratitude and all of its volunteers do such amazing work to give those over seas even the smallest piece of home that gives them the biggest smile and brightest day (other than coming home ofcourse). May God bless all those at Operation Gratitude and all of our service members, and may he bring them home safe and soon!!!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

I personally know the effects that Operation Gratitude has on deployed soldiers as my husband is deployed and has recieved a care package from them. I had the pleasure of being on the phone when he opened the box and know the joy it brought him and the other soldiers around him.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

If I had to make any changes, I would expand this organization so that there would be more places that more people could help. I would love to volunteer putting together packages however thier location is too far for me to travel.
