I was able to attend a food packaging event with this organization benefiting children here in the bay area. It was very rewarding to learn about the schools and community centers they serve so that I could understand how important each box I packaged was for those children and their families that will receive it. Moms Against Poverty is doing the hard work that most people turn a blind eye to. Once your eyes are open its hard to turn back. I have signed up as a ChangeMaker, their monthly giving program, so that I can help fund sustainable programs like their food packaging projects here in the Bay Area.
