I began volunteering with this amazing organization back in 2010 when my son was just a few months old. I began with the preparing new parents program which was led at the time by the founder and the Director Claire. I found the program very informative and helpful especially as a new first time mom fresh out of the workforce and looking to meet some local mom friends and gain some valuable knowledge. I was later approached by Claire to help assist in launching the Life With A Baby York Region north chapter. Here I am 12 years later with now a preteen continuing to keep the village going in my community. I have taken on various roles within the charity over the years including acting as the intern community development manager as we launched Life With A Baby Simcoe several years ago.

My volunteerism with Life With A Baby has impacted me so much that I have actually recently made the decision to go back to school to complete my masters degree in order to become a psychotherapist and continue to support Moms. I can’t speak more highly about this amazing organization
