Food and Water Watch staff do a great job involving volunteers. They encourage the participation of community members in grassroots campaigns aimed at improving the lives and well being of all. They welcome new participants and do great educational webinars and trainings. They are an organization skilled at lobbying legislators and engaging in the political process.

I have been an environmental activist for decades and have taken great inspiration from the folks at Food and Water Action. They have an incredibly intelligent and hard working staff that knows how to work with and motivate volunteers. Food and Water Action is notable for its emphasis on activism and involvement.

I was first attracted to their work in opposing a new fracked gas pipeline. I am now involved in a "cutting edge" campaign focused on passing the All Electric Building Act in New York State. . Food and Water Action was instrumental in passing similar legislation in New York City. Kudos to Food and Water Action.
