Review for Food & Water Action, Washington, DC, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I have been donating to Food and Water Watch for years and have included them in my will. That's because they do a great job of fighting for policies that really address the climate/ecocide crisis and protect frontline communities while calling out costly false solutions like carbon capture and storage and pay to play schemes like cap and trade and carbon offsets that enable fossil fuel polluters to keep polluting. Their campaigns work to put an end to fossil fuel extraction, sale and use, put an end to plastics that are made from fossil fuels and cannot be recycled and put an end to factory farms with their mono-crops, massive use of fossil fuel based pesticides and fertilizers that deplete the soil and kill pollinators and their giant animal feed lots that not only release vast amounts of methane but also cause terrible animal suffering. They also do a great job of putting on webinars that educate people about all of this and give them ways to get involved.
