I became aware of Breast Cancer Prevention Partners when asked to do a climb to raise money for a great cause 9 years ago. 9 years later I have climbed Mt. Washington (in NH) every year as well as climbing Mt. Shasta (in CA) raising over $16,000 for BCPP. Why? Because the more I learned about this amazing non-profit, the more I learned about what I can do to help myself be as healthy as I can be. I've changed my purchasing habits, I've become more aware of how my actions and what I purchase for myself directly effects my risks for cancer. I've downloaded BCPP recommended apps that I use regularly to find products that are the best for most. I refer to their website on a very regular basis, more so than any other nonprofit website out there.

In addition, over the course of yearly hiking for BCPP, I have been educated as to their numerous and vast research projects including PFAS and understanding chemicals in various products. I feel like BCPP personally has my back. I'm very grateful for the research they do, the role they play in passing legislation, and for the information they diseminate that keeps me being the healthiest person I can possibly be.
