My experience with the San Diego Brain Injury Foundation has been in supporting their wonderful residential home Howard House. Howard House is a very comfortable home where residents with brain injuries live with 24 hour support. Each resident is well cared for and provided with nourishing meals and daily activities to maximize their health and quality of life. The residents receive ongoing therapy and have developed close relationships with the staff and therapists. Family members are comforted by the fact that their loved ones are well cared for at Howard House. The San Diego Brain Injury is dedicated to maintaining this home for brain injured individuals who are unable to care for themselves.

The San Diego Brain Injury Foundation is highly dedicated to serving individuals with brain injury in our community. They have a new dynamic CEO, Roslyn Knox, who has gone above and beyond to serve the population. Most of my experience has been with Howard House, their residential facility in Escondido, CA. It is a beautifully run house with the focus on giving their residents with chronic brain injuries the best quality of life possible. It is a pleasure and a privilege to be involved with Howard House and the amazing residents and staff at the home. This is truly a GREAT nonprofit!!!!

The San Diego Brain Injury Foundation has been instrumental in providing housing for individuals with chronic brain injuries that are no longer able to live in their own homes. I have personally been involved in supporting individuals at Howard House the foundation’s residential care home. The home provides a nurturing environment where residents get their emotional and physical needs met in addition to receiving professional support services from therapists and a traumatic brain injury life coach on a weekly basis. Residents thrive in this environment and are well cared for! Howard House is an excellent option for individuals with brain injuries that have a need for supported housing!
