Love this ministry! Children who are hungry are given a food bag for the weekend in central Alabama. Some of the teachers who give out the bags to the children say they jump for joy when they receive theirs. Nearly 750 families come once a month to get nearly 90 pounds of groceries. When we are preparing food for distribution, we have a saying. “If you won’t eat it, throw it out”. Men and women receiving groceries come up to you and hug your neck and say thank you. They tell you how much the groceries mean to them.
