I enjoy volunteering with TPF and believe in taking care of our Parks in Jacksonville. The TPF leadership team is amazing and fun to work with as well as all the volunteers.

We have a great number of lovely Parks and it makes all the difference when they are kept in good shape and litter free for visitors to enjoy. The TPF team makes sure of this by organizing various volunteer opportunities to participate in cleanups.

We also have a great river to enjoy and it's viewable from many of the Parks. Many events are planned throughout the year for the general public to participate in which are well organized by the TPF team.

When I am not volunteering I enjoy walking and biking the trails or just having a picnic.
I also enjoy seeing the wildflowers and wildlife. I visit the Jacksonville/Baldwin Rail Trail often and it is one of the favorites for cycling enthusiasts.
I usually see gopher tortoises when I visit there and sometimes deer ,but they are too quick for me to snap a photo. I did get a photo of a snake and I'm glad it wasn't poisonous!
