I have been involved with Youthlinc since 2017, and they will continue to be part of my future. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming to those they come in contact with. I’ve never felt like I couldn’t reach out to them about numerous topics! Youthlinc got me involved in my community and helped me connect with people I most likely would not have on other terms. I became aware of the people around me, and the situations that they deal with frequently. With that awareness, I was able to find ways to lighten their load. I also was introduced to people on my team that I normally would not interact with in regular circumstances. To this day I still have close friends/connections with the people I first met back in 2017. Youthlinc’s service year brings people together! And all participants have the same goal in mind. We create a strong bond with one another as we work side by side to complete our goals, whether that’s locally or internationally. Youthlinc’s mission is to create lifetime humanitarians, and I think it’s safe to say that they are following through with that statement. I’ll happily work along Youthlinc and support their mission as long as I can. They truly changed my life, and I’m forever grateful to them.
