I am a supporter and volunteer for HELP Foundation for over 12 years. The foundation started with a grass roots movement working tirelessly to be the voices of the destitute and underprivileged children in multiple locations in India.
What attracted me to this social cause was the unwavering dedication and focus that all members and volunteers of the organization have on ensuring every penny goes to support the children.
Each year, volunteers go to visit locations that oversee the children's needs and monitor how the funds are being put to use. Reports of the progress of the children in their academic and personal lives provides the sponsors the reassurance that funds are reaching and benefitting those in need.
HELP foundation also encourages youth volunteers in the US to use their talent and also foster the sense of community service in the process of raising funds for the children in India.
