Burge Bird Rescue is a wonderful resource for the Kansas City area animal shelter community. Dr. Burge is always willing to help with advice on birds in need, and transfers birds who show up at the municipal shelters and need special care finding permanent homes. Thank you Burge Bird Rescue!
