I had to leave a successful longtime career as a truck driver to care for my elderly mother and her sister. Fortunately I had 37 yrs of savings. However, Doctor bills quickly ate through it all.
Then my niece had a child that was born with health issues. Shortly after another of her children was diagnosed with leukemia. Her husband lost his job because of time away from work. They lost their home and soon moved in with me.
Alot of people under one roof! And I was the sole provider.
Moments of hope helped with food. But more than that, allowed me to voice my fear, my anger, and my uncertainty. I got reassurance and prayers. Help with programs. Prayers for better paying jobs.
Moments of Hope is exactly that. Hope in the moment you need it the most. They are the hands and feet of Jesus.
