Review for The Andrew Goodman Foundation Inc., New York, NY, USA
The Andrew Goodman Foundation provides an intricate link to the historical civil rights movement through the lens of Andrew Goodman's bravery, selflessness, belief in and commitment to a just society. The foundation pays homage to history, and today serves as a catalyst for change, and encourages individuals to contribute to the “healing of the world” by taking steps outside of their comfort zone. I’ve had the honor of attending an AGF Hidden Heroes Awards, and it is nothing short of moving. Award recipients are indeed “ordinary people doing extraordinary things,” and their actions to help change the fabric of society are inspiring. The foundation is a reminder that Andrew and many others paved the way for today, yet there is still work to do and can be done if we all contribute
