I have worked with the Plastic Ocean Project as a volunteer and more recently, a staff member, since 2013. POP has always been a great team to work with! Over the last ten years, the Plastic Ocean Project has noticeably increased awareness of the plastic pollution issue in southeastern North Carolina and beyond. POP offers so many ways for folks to get involved from research to art to outreach and more.
